Rudyard Kipling, the novelist, short-story writer and poet, known for his tales about British soldiers
in India and Burma, and particularly The Jungle Book and Just So stories and fables. He was born in 1865 in
Bombay, Br. India, but lived most of his life in Great Britain, dying in London, England, in 1936. In 1907 Rudyard Kipling
was awarded the Nobel Laureate in Literature.
